I always find it weird that people read other peoples personal blogs. I guess today it is dangerous to keep something like this - especially with my tendency to by pretty open and up front.  I might talk about politics, work, school, or whatever the heck else I want to talk about.

Sometimes you might find it funny, weird, stupid, offensive or insulting.

Of course, Why the heck would you even read this anyways?  Most likely, you won't... But I'm not writing it for you anyways.

Its times like this

that I wonder...

Is there ANYTHING I can't ruin? Is there any good inside me? Will it ever show up?

Are your genitals bigger than your brain?

Is this only suprising to me?'

An online survey that sampled some 56000 men and women came up with the following results:

Only 39% of people discuss "HIV or STDs with a potential partner", while 31% never discuss it and (here is the kicker) 24% only discuss it with partners they don't know very well.

What the heck? So 24% of the 56000 people sampled not only refuse to protect themselves (and their future partners) but they only also admit to having partners that they "don't know very well"

I wouldn't even ride in a car with someone I didn't know very well and 24% of American's are admitting to a much more intimate ride with "people they don't know well"

Almost equally disturbing is the fact that 15% of respondents have paid someone for sex. Enter your workplace or classroom and count off 20 people. Three of those people have paid for sex.

And my favorite part of the survey?

17% of respondents selected "I am not sure" to the statment:

"I always know whether my partner does/does not have HIV or other STD."

ummm.... wouldn't "Im not sure meant that you DON'T always know (and thus be a NO response?). The number of people who are complete idiots is almost the same as those who have paid for sex.

I hate Christmas...

at least what it has become in the USA. Sure, getting gifts is fun... but the stress of having to BUY gifts for people can be overwhelming...

especially if you don't have any money to begin with. Christmas would be a much better holiday if we eliminated the gift giving all together.

Wait... It would be better if everyone bought ME gifts and I didn't have to buy them anything.

I guess I would take either one.

Time for a review of the rules...

The most important factor in a critical NFL game is not decided by athletic ability, offensive strategy or coaching finess. It is decided by a flip of a coin.

Why bother with wasting the fan and the players time? Why not just roll the dice and see who gets a higher number; or draw straws or cards? A game can be fought hard between two evenly matched teams with great defense and great offense and roll to a tie just to have the most critical "play" of the game turn into a flip of a coin.

Why waste 4 quarters of my life and the life of the players if you are going to have the game be decided by factors beyond human control. Just set the two teams up in Madden and simulate the game and tell us the score.... The current NFL overtime rule makes regulation play, skill and coaching nothing but attempt to get more plays for a highlight reel.

Either change the overtime rule or admit that american football is as retarded a sport as the "other" world's football. The best team lost, but they weren't out played... They were out flipped.

Lets learn from this example

A news story from the associated press talks about a 16 year old girl who made a huge impact on her city by championing a large, and often overlooked, need. This is what the holiday season SHOULD be about... but instead we make it all about gifts for ME.

Anyways, if you want to be encouraged that there are people in the world better than me (and you!) and get helpful hints on how to make a difference that matters, you can check out the article here

To: All Manu G's foolish minions

The media, the fan base and even some of the competition all swore that Manu was the 2nd best spur. I knew they were all idiots. Tony Parker was clearly the 2nd most important Spur... Anyone who disagreed is now known to be an idiot.

Stats for 2005-2006 NBA Season

Tony Parker: 22.1PPG (on 57.5% shooting) 6.1APG, 1.13SPG, 3.4 RBG

Vs

Manu Ginobili: 14.8 PPG (on 42.7% shooting) 3.1 APG, 1.5SPG, 4.4RPG

PLAN AHEAD

Why do people call Domino's Pizza at 5:30pm on a friday night without having any idea what the members of their party want? It drives me crazy that I have to sit and listen to some moron argue with their spouse about what kind of pizza do get while 6 other lines ring off the hook. Decide what you want BEFORE you call for pizza... or maybe you should consider another dinner choice.

I hate my job.
